    From the interview :-

Maintaining that Indian football season should be longer, Stimac said, "We cannot stop our season at the end of February. Football needs to be played until mid-May. I’m told it cannot happen as it overlaps with the broadcast of the Indian Premier League (IPL). But broadcast is not important. What’s important is players play more games to improve their football and bring more quality to the National team."

AIFF should try to become one of the J-league partner nations which will allow J league clubs both tier 1 & tier 2 to sign up Indian players .. Thatz the reason some thailand players are playing there....  Borges, Thapa, Amrinder etc can easily play there.... Will free up some gametime for other indian players in isl...

India has good relations with Japan, and if modi puts a word, it will be done.... Parth jindal has good contacts with Japanese clubs and he can easily make it possible... AIFF & Kushal Das needs to know such a scheme exists and must take interest in this... Surprised that Technical director Isac Doru did not come up with this advice....

AIFF should have rather implemented the bottom top approach of the football pyramid in Japan.  Looks like aiff is good only in signing MOUs with various football bodies of the world rather than implementing it.

Along with Thailand & Qatar ; Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore & Indonesia are also J League partner nations. But none of them playing in J1 League. Thai players are good and giving tough fight in AFC champions league, that is the reason J league clubs are willing to sign them and nothing to do with partnership. If players are not good enough, none of the J1/J2 club will sign them for warming the bench.

Why Modi will ask J league clubs to sign Indian players. Also in no world, Clubs will influence due to relationship b/w Nations until they get monetary benefits/sponsorship from us..

Regarding Parth jindal, I don't think JSW has any ventures in Japan and their only association with J League is thru JFE steel who are former owners of Vissel Kobe and not sure if they still hold some shares in this club or not...

Foreign Clubs will sign only Indian players if our NT/ISL/I League clubs performance is good in AFC level..

Only possibility of top foreign club signing Indian player soon is thru CFG & Mumbai City association.. We might be seeing young players like Anwar Anil playing for any CFG owned Reserve Team/U-23 team initially..

@Nagendra  AIFF can atleast get into a tie up with J-league for permitting Indian players to play under local quota there just like how Thailand, Vietnam players  have a chance.....

Modi need not speak for Indian players... He or his foreign secretary can put a word to his counterpart for a tie -up with AIFF.....  Then based on merit Indian players will get selected there or at least get a chance to be selected......  Recently a Indonesian player was selected and J-League got good marketing there..... India is a bigger market than Indonesia and J-league would love to tie-up if AIFF approach them....

Parth Jindal has some links there... He set up the India house in Japan for Olympics.. Sports ministry used his contacts there to get it done.....

Players like Thapa, Borges, Amrinder after playing in low level isl league must move on to play in Asian leagues... At least go there on trials & try their luck..... national coach & technical director must encourage and help with their contacts... Thai players I have seen are not extra ordinary..

Sumit Rathi says he has plans to set up football academy after retirement.... Jitendra says it is a dream come true for him to play for isl club like JFC...  they don't even have higher ambitions to tell... they are satisfied with isl money.... Komal & Boris sitting in isl bench have wasted tax payer money and hope they go on loan to ilgue this season (to put this in perspective, CR7 told his school mates that he wants to be the best footballer in the world & everyone laughed at him... till now he is waking up & hitting the gym to challenge Messi & become the goat... Tatz how high ambition must be )...

Ideally these players must play in isl for gametime (2 seasons) and then move to higher asian leagues & then Europe.....  But nothing is happening due to various constraints, which AIFF should remove......  Else we will never play in World Cup & isl clubs will fail after few years due to losses.....

Only Changte seems to be determined to go & play for a foreign club... He cut off ties with Odisha fc after they denied him enough time for trials in Europe.....

Indonesia is a huge market, India is nowhere compared to them. Abdul sahal except in Kerala is Mr No-one in rest of the country but that's not the case with Indonesian footballers.

Indian players are overpaid and simply not god enough to play even in J-2 Division. Even a Japanese college kid plays more games/season than Chettri or Jhingan.

If we consider model of AIFF leagues and team like FC goa ... Youth team player would get to play these many matches

They would play 14 or 16 games in youth league
10 games in second division for reserve
    22 games in GPL

If they go to Durand Cup then 5 Matches

So total would be 50 games

But this the best possible scenario and lot of factors to consider
    1. not all teams have luxary of playing GPL
    2. I league teams cant play reserve so they get 10 matches less (for team like Aizawl even if they play Mizoram league)
    3. Not all teams keep conistent batch of players like goa so as play it throughout year
    4. not all teams play Duran cup

So realistically speaking players end up playing 20-25 games or even lesser
