Hey! think in this way.For club world cup we'll get huge crowd support when compared to that of u17 cup.Private companies will come to help build infrastucture. If 2013 Ileague champions get the entry , many of these companies may come forward to take over some i league clubs before itself.Quality foreign players will come to play in our clubs.Lets keep aside our team's performance in the cup -say let us be placed in a relatively easy group and we put a hard fight as we did in ASIAN CUP and proudly out of the cup.Ya theres only small time left - but private firms can make it possible ( an eg;- -JP F1 circuit )

But I'm 80% sure that guys in FIFA are sensible enough to not award India Club World Cup in 2015,maybe in 2019 it is possible as someone said.

//Blatter was non-committal about the prestigious Club World Cup, but said: "Why not? There is a possibility that the tournament will be played in Asia. The present Indian clubs doesn't match the standards. But if it is played in India then the country's top team will play in the tournament." //

looks like they hav already agreed with some asian country!!

That is better, there is no way Indian club could play in club football. But, if host nation club rule is withheld, it seems a viable option. This would speed up India's growth in football.

Why is Blatter implying that the tournament can possibly be in Asia as if it was not the case for earlier editions! All the Club World Cups have been held in Japan so far!

The first one was in Brazil while the 2010 and 2011 version was in the United Arab Emirates and the 2013 and 2014 ones will be in Morocco

So were 2007 and 2008 editions. Only 2009 and 2010 were in UAE. Again 2011 in Japan. So its all Asia anyway
