Why are we complaining? Let us prove ourselves aconclusively against the SAFF nations first! Remember we are not even the SAFF Champions anymore. SO what is this arrogance all about? The fact that we could not beat AFG will not bring us great friendlies
I disagree, it is all about the money here. If AIFF is ready to chip in more money for the friendlies then we can easily get one of the African nation (100-130) to play here provided AIFF is ready to bear the full cost. Losing or not losing to Afghanistan will not make much difference. However what you are saying would be more valid for a team which is probably ranked in say top 100
At least we are going to play a friendly and who cares we play Bangladesh. The real test is an away game, in their backyard. Maybe Wim might try out some new faces in the team, maybe, 1 or 2 from the under-22.
There is no doubt money matters a lot in these things. What I am saying is the other factor that plays in arranging friendly. If you are a good team, another good team would want to play against you, then the opponent is also ready to make compromises in as far as money is concerned
@Ashlesh May be not an entire new bunch but we must try the junior talents in numbers. Many are not with any clubs and would be lost from the scene. If they impress in the NT, at least they would find some club and remain in the game
May we just beat them 4-0 and get rid of forever. But the fact is that we struggled against them last we met. Win is so scared of introducing new plyers that he has this stupid rule of not allowing non-i-league players into the them. Since when did the I-League become a benchmark? Should the U19 players wait till they find a club?
@nameWTHeld i am saying this since fro months .. if we cant give our 19-20 years old players chance then friendly is for no use ! atleast 1 player should be introduce every match
