First Lets Be Gratefull that the powers to Be decided to Play a Freindly..Phew..Like @ashlesh said earlier we cried we was not getting friendlies now when we have one we cry about the opposition..Also like @somesh said the Better you are then tougher Opponents will seek you out..so first Lets beat Bangladesh comprehensly and then Play the Next team and beat them well and later see who wants to play with India..
I for one totally agree to blooding our U22 and U19 layers along with a few experienced seniors..WHEN will we Start to inject new players in theTeam..
List of countries which India should target for Friendlies :- Singapore
Malaysia
Afganistan
Palestine Yemen Burma (Myanmar) Indonesia Vietnam Phillipines Turkmenistan Tajikistan Kyrgyzstan Our next step should be Thailand North Korea Oman Kuwait Jordan UAE Qatar(we beat them 2-1 in 2011)
Oman, Kuwait, UAE, Jordan and what! QATAR. You must be joking. We stand no chance against them and who said playing Bangladesh and Nepal is a step backwards? We are not even consistent beating team ALWAYS and you guys have gone far with your list. Lets first play the SAFF countries and dominate then look outside, the way the AIFF are arranging friendlies is so far fair and yes we played Philippines in India, which is outside the SAFF, once in a while playing other east Asian countries is good.
