@ashlesh. Why you did not come today. Very good crowd and a lot from Salcette. Each person was physically checked at the gate. But crowd supprt really helped Salgcr and crowd was well disciplined. Only verbal abuses for Karim.

Regarding tbe game I must say that Salgcr will be difficult to beat henceforth. John was great in midfield. And all the three of them combined beautifully in first match itself. John should have got thr Man of Match.

MB are so poor in midfield. OMG, they will struggle to survive. Dismal performance from them.

Personally, I dont like the stadium. But definite Sporting should play here as they dont get any support at Fatorda.

Disgraceful attitude shown by Sporting Clube de Goa. Falling down faking injury again and again to waste time.

this ghost is haunting scg players also...
this is just not good for the league quality

Ref should start giving 30 min injury time. Then all this non sense will stop. But we can understand SCG doing it. But why does MFC do it??? They have no risk of relegation and cant win the league. Why they play dirty!!

  • So overall we had 3 under-23 players make their professional debuts in this Round:

    1) Satish Singh for Churchill Brothers. Unknown age. Known to be U23 as he played in the U20 league last season.

    2) Simranjit Singh for Pailan Arrows. Age 20. Made his debut as a 74th minute sub against Shillong Lajong.

    3) Bruno Colaço. Age 21. Made his debut for Sporting as the starting goalkeeper against Pune. He kept the clean-sheet.

The crowd were booeing him throughout the match.  When he came closer to the crowd during halftime on the way to dressing room, it was just too much abuses being hurled at him.Karim just put his head down and walked away. At the end of the match, the MB team waited on ground itself  till the crowd had left. Since it is a small ground, every persons abuses can be clearly heard.

Before the match each person was physically checked by guards. No loose items were allowed inside. Two policemen were always with Karim on the bench. And also GFA member Mr. Lavino was seen accompanying Karim before the match like his personal guard. It was like a fortress.

@domnic yess i am sure the salgaocar fans abused Karim left right and centre.. the anger is surely justifiable..in a way glad there wa sno untoward incident and the organisers arranged enough security for KArim and MB..Professinalism must also rise above the club rivalry and revenge.

happy that salgaocar used the hurt/revenge  theme to win d match n outplayed MB..

any idea's bouncers are arrnaged by Home team or GFA?
