It depends on why ISL flops. Just because ISL could flop does not mean there is no hope for Indian football. The NASL in America managed to have a team with some of the best players in the world... almost like what the ISL is and it died and back then people saw that as the reason soccer would never work in the US... now look... almost 30 years later.
