who will improve infrastructure?? The franchisees? Are you crazy? They are out to make money -- make no mistake. Look at IPL -- the mother of all masala leagues: has any team invested a single paise for infra? You have to be a simpleton to believe in building infrastructure by a franchisee!
and about signing players-what will they achieve by OLD RETIRED players? They are retired because they are old and unfit to play. Indian Football will improve by playing with old unfit players??
At most I can see improvements on the field because that is where the game will be played and all that but nothing else will change with infrastructure.
Probably some good news for ISL btw in terms of potential players with some recent retirements in the A-League, most notably, Harry Kewell. He scored against India during the 2011 AFC Asian Cup and he is a pretty known player. However, he has already said he wants to start coaching and all that (which I personally believe because he can easily still play at the A-League level if he wanted).
