@7negi Anglian Management Group and Legion Football Advisory (LFA) should do something about Indian football. If they had the required money then I-league clubs in India will have strong tie-ups with top club teams in Europe. If we have to catch-up with countries such as Japan or Australia then we need to move quickly otherwise it will be too late.
Thailand and Malaysia are already making good progress than India in football. Buriram United and Muangthong FC are becoming stronger than ever.
Central Government (Sports Ministry of India) Thanks to Kalmadi ji is the owner of Balewadi Stadium Complex in Pune. Same way Sree Kanthareeva Stadium in Bengaluru is owned by Karnataka State Govt. Sports Authority.
Are these people handing out the keys of their stadiums to mythical ISL experts for maintenance, renovation, paint? or they are doing it on their own and I-League clubs, ISL Franchise(if they exist) will lease the facilities from them on payment of charges.
Stadium owners should do the maintenance. I think that whatever maintenance is being done in Balewadi Complex is being done by Sports ministry on their own, regular maintenance. I dont think that Salman Khan's Pune Franchise is digging up the turf.
but who is doing this work?? Is that routine maintenance work done by India Sports Ministry who controls the Balewadi Stadium complex??? How can we tell that ISL is doing this work?? Who is paying the bill? The stadium is government owned.
Why would you need attention to football, Mate this isnt a niche game where you want to drum up support, Its the most popular sport in the world and India is only Isolated to certain parts.
India has a good sizable football following population but unfortunately has been misgoverned by non sporting people over the years. From the highs of the 50's & 60's where we could have shot up we fell down but that's history.
ISL is for the EPL/ La-Liga new generation only, I will not be surprised if this league is also chucked aside by the same fans that they are craving attention for.
