and regarding long jumper Ankit ... He has broken national record in Kazakhstan and jumped thrice over 8 meters... and in Rio, first two jumps are foul... he might have under pressure after 2 first fouls... and again 7.67 m in long jump is not a joke...

regarding Tintu Luka... Hope u haven't followed past Asian Athletics competitions.. She is best available 800 m athlete., Now, she just past her prime...

Narsingh Yadav has been banned for 4 years. Earlier some false reports were coming out of Indian Private TV channels that Narsingh Yadav has been cleared but that has not been the case. CAS didnt see any evidence that his food/drinks were spiked. His career is finished. What an emotional roller-coaster?

Belgium & Germany in top 3 is not a surprise... I'm aware that Argentina is most unpredictable team... but never expected them to win gold medal.. conditions suited well for Argentina..
Argentina only lost is against India... We are unfortunate not to win a medal...
Gopichand is a taskmaster. Somehow Jwala Gutta and Gopichand do not see eye to eye. Probably because Jwala Gutta see Gopichand as a colleague and he was in Indian squad when Gutta also came in India Team. Arif Saab coached both Gopichand and Jwala gutta in Hyderabad. Yes Gopichand Private Academy is not liked by ex-coach Vimal Kumar also who now has Saina Nehwal. But Gopi stature will rise even more now with Sindhu and Srikanth performance in this Olympics.

Reliance foundation going to fund Gopichand academy....
Gopichand started academy in Salem, Tamil Nadu... It is ideal place for all 3 southern states ( T.N, Karnataka & Kerala).
Heard that, he is planning to start academy in North India as well.... Somewhere in U.P or near to Delhi... not sure about the exact place...
