Seems to be Shiva Thapa got easier path to SF and has best chance to win a medal.... even though Robeisy Ramírez won gold medal in London.. It's in Lightweight and that too 4 years back.. His ranking also not good now and most recently he haven't participated in world championships.
See,i personally don't feel I was too optimistic.I was quite balanced in my prediction.We all can acknowledge that we had 17-18 potential medal chances so I said 8-10 medals I.e 50 percent.If almost all the Athletes are crumbling under pressure,this shouldn't mean that the predictions were overstated.
We won 6 last time,every country tries to improve from previous edition,so 8-10 was a realistic possibility.I don't know why friends here were saying I had overstated them.
Jitu Rai was ranked 3rd in both 10m and 50m pistol.Doesnt win a medal.Surely,you would predict 2 medal possibility from him.
Others also , similar cases.Its just have been bad display from our Shooters.

To be frank... it makes sense....
I have predicted 10-11 medals (3 in shooting ) and by considering worst case, prediction is 7-8 medals ( 2 in shooting )....
Now... winning medal in shooting is very difficult... so new prediction 5-6 medals
Let's hope for the best...
