Earlier some people were giving impressions that Larsing Ming will close down Shillong Lajong and take full control of North East United Franchise of ISL. But this is opposite. In this power struggle, Ming and Shillonmg Lajong along with players are shunted out? and North East United means North East United. By including Guwahati, it becomes Assam only. Or are they planning one more Shillong Franchise?
I meant to say if they want to keep the name "north east united" they should relocate every season and play in different States like Sikkim, Mizoram,Maghalaya,Nagaland,Assam, arunachal Pradesh ,etc. as I dont like the idea of one club represent the whole north east. it better they change there name and settle in Guwahati.
They have plans to play 2015 season in multiple venues...but Gauhati sold out every game...and stadium is bigger and better than Mizoram and Manipur whih aren't really ISL worthy... either is JLN Shilling..until renovations are complete

In the United States we have the New England Patriots and New England Revolution. Both teams play in 1 state but represent the entire New England area of the United States. Why can we not do the same for NorthEast United?
bcoz this is India ....we aren't used to follow simple path unless and until bad happens and we make decision on 11th hour ....so your concept wil not work
