Ball possession stats mean nothing. Barcelona will have a bigger possession than their opposition, but so will Liverpool under Rodgers, but we all know that doesn't mean Liverpool will be winning the game like Barcelona most likely will.

That is a different ball game all together. here we need to know posession to know if we had more than 3-4 passes which is our senior team problem

Possession means having the ball. that means confidence in executing your plan A.

something that sorely lacked in the world cup qualifer against the same opponents. We couldnt even stitch a couple of passes.

It depends on the style of play too. The way U16s are setup, it looks like they enjoy the majority if the posession.
