Nepal to host first ever U19 SAFF championship from August 20-29 .

Eight SAFF countries will take part in the championship.

The participating countries are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Elite Academy Boys Who recently won U19 League by winning all matches will play in it !

It will be good practice for Blue Cubs before AFC U19 Championship qualifiers in September !

AIFF should send these U-19 players for foreign exposure trips for gaining more experience. Clearly we don't want India to be defeated by the likes of Nepal or Bangladesh.

Nepal has a good U-19 team of overage guys that reach AFC finals led by BGM..Our team still should be good enough..only thing is that we should have hosted it instead of those pathetic Nepal grounds..Hope we also get the looser Afghans and thrash them..guess they are one of our opponents in the AFC qualifiers

I hope we dominate the tournament and put Afghanistan in their place. They think that just because they can get some Germans to play for them that they are better... yes, India is going through a bit of a down-period the last couple of years but at our best, we can take down the Afghans!

Does the u19 team consist of the likes of Krishna Pandit ,Jerry & co. or is it the one that took part in frenz cup with MIlan Basumatry ?
