The official draw for the 2015 SAFF U19 Championship was conducted by ANFA at ANFA complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur on Monday. Six teams were divided into two groups on the basis of seedings at AFC U19 championship 2014.
Group A: Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan Group B: Maldives, India, Afghanistan
Group winners and the runners up team will advance to semifinals.
The matches will be played at ANFA Complex, Satdobato or in Army ground Lagankhel.
SAFF being such a small group should start inviting some top sides from SAM/EU/AFRICA to participate making atleast an 8 team event and exposing the local talent to top competition...AIFF should take the lead in this but do they have the time/focus?
