Actually there are 2 players from the Kashima Antlers team that represented Japan U19. Lot of their youth players represent school teams due to the structure of their league.
This is a tournament which the winner of u18 league should b playing not our NT....having said that if our NT can thrash kashima antlers youth team ( hoping its the 1st team), ill still b proud.
We will have to wait till the next major U19 tournament or qualification to find out who AIFF select. We just don't play enough international games at U19 level like other countries.
For example, over the past 3 years, we played in 3 tournaments at U19 level I think - 1. 2012 AFC qualification (didn't qualify with likes of Halder, Brandon, Sehnaj) 2. 2014 AFC qualification (didn't get out of group with Daniel, Udanta, Germanpreet etc) and the recently concluded and embarrassing 2016 AFC U19 qualification.
I for one agree with deepak!( Never thought i would write this ) 1 u-21 in playing 11 cant be too bad. These players can't be worse than the worst indian player on the pitch in the current format.

It will incentivized the franchises to invest in youth development but then again I was mistaking the jamboree for a football tournament
Why u20 player bro lets give u10 player chance to play in isl
