I think restricting foreigners to 2 should be beneficial to the clubs' budgets as well as to Indian football in general. To raise one's game, one need not play only alongwith foreigners, but also against foreign teams (in the form of matches in Asian level competitions).
And I think Sunday-Monday-Fridays are not bringing anything to the table. Lesser number of foreigners will mean better foreigners and effective utilisation of team budget.
@deb_Ban i doubt that a reduction in the number of foreigners will effectively mean a rise in the quality of foreigners. In an ideal world that would have been true, but in reality the clubs will happily cut their budget(reduce their losses) and continue with the same standard of foreigners.
