NorthEast United bring in 32-year old midfielder Romaric. The Ivory Coast international last played in Cyprus' first division, playing 30 matches last season for fourth place side Omonia. The previous season he played in Ligue 1 with Bastia, playing 26 matches. He was a regular in both France and Spain's top divisions from 2007 to 2014. Very good signing from NorthEast United when their signings before were kind of underwhelming.

 Really a great signing !!! He is one of those lesser known marquee kinda signings...2006 and 2010 WC...won copa del rey with Sevilla in 2009...DAMN !

Thing is, I don't think he is being brought in as a marquee.

That I am aware of. But it is one of those cheap alternatives for marquees, which clicks the basic criteria of marquee i.e playing in some major international tournaments like the world cup. And teams like ATK FCG NEUFC KBFC ...even Chennaiyin should go for these guys.

I think IFN should start asking for scouting charges from ISL teams. Good revenue source !!

NEUFC have done a good signing but their marquee is still not worth. Needed a better marquee than Simao.
