@Noddy.... Please don't quote ISL website for attendances. Last year Pune City used to throw the gates open at half time to get the crowd in and then at the 80th minute they used to announce the attendance. you are living in a fools paradise. You can check this with any Pune fan who attended the ISL last season.

@deepakc .. Exactly what i'm saying. The Pune stadium didn't even look 1/3rd full. How can they claim that there were 8196 people which translates to over 80% capacity. @Noddy ... I respect you for who you are but your contention is absurd.

So now coming to my two conflicts of interests that are sprouting within the echelons of AIFF. Kishore Taid, Manager of Strategy and Business Development at AIFF is virtually the number two to Kushal Das. Word has it that all meetings attended by Kushal also has him present. Incidentally, he is the blue eyed boy of Bhaichung Bhutia, having once worked for the Bhaichung Bhutia Soccer Schools which explains why Kishore Taid is being given so much importance in the AIFF. Probably he is still working for them knowing how crooked Bhaichung Bhutia is. When Kushal is not in office, according to AIFF sources, Kishore takes the call and in all probability he is in the reckoning for the AIFF General Secretary post along with Joy Bhattacharya and Chirag Tanna.

The second conflict of interest that is sprouting is that of Abhishek Yadav being the owner of Football Schools of India (FSI).

Now the questions arises, how can two men, who are running football coaching centres work for the AIFF? If you follow the Lodha Commission report, the selectors of the Indian cricket team couldn't be associated with any other team nor could they have academies or be involved in any coaching assignments. That explained how little known cricketers like MSK Prasad and Sarandeep Singh are now selectors of the Indian cricket team. How can a similar logic be wrong for cricket and right for football? If the Lodha Commission looks at what is happening in football, Bhaichung Bhutia and Abhishek Yadav would have to pack their bags. Sadly, no one intends to clear the mess that Indian football is in right now.  Bhaichung for one is a huge stooge of Patel, and still shadow owns the Football Edge, a player agency that has several top footballers as its clients. So what do Bhaichung Bhutia and Football Schools of India intend to do in the long run? Use the scouting network of AIFF to scout the best young talent in India, then enrol them for their academies and then when bigger clubs come calling sell them for a transfer fee? Sound business sense. Well done you Indian football greats.
