Saurabh Choudhury finishes at 7th place in the final of 10m air pistol event.

Really disappointed. 10m Air pistol event was prime event for us to win a medal. We had two genuine world class shooters.

We had genuine chance in 3 events today, where we won 1 medal. We should have won at least 2 medals, specially in 10m air pistol event.

Overall, disappointing day in my opinion.. We should have had 2 medals at least.

Now, we will need a compensatory medal from less fancied event or a sport to recover this loss.

Kudos to Mirabai Chanu. Living up to her billing. Finally getting what she deserves..Now, she should get what she deserves (financially as well)

Great performance from her!!! Really proud of her!!

Congratulations to Mirabai. She even tried for OR in clean & jerk and missed by whisker. For few minutes,  record is with Mirabai & finally it is set by Gold medalist in last attempt.

Worst part is both Chinese & Mirabai struggling with back pain after last attempt (Gold & Silver winners). Chinese athelete getting treatment with all latest technology whereas Mirabai has to bare the pain.

Hockey: Though we won our match against Newzealand,  we are poor defensively and they were able to penetrate easily into our penalty area. To have any chance to win a medal,  we have to improve our game.

Badmiton Men's doubles : After winning first match against superior opponents, we have increased our QF qualifications chances.

In Men's Hockey - Nagendra is right. We controlled the match for first 3 quarters and dominated Newzealand but some how were non-existent in the last quarter( specifically defensively).

We will definitely need to improve(both offensively and defensively)..

One more thing is Women's Hockey Team played really well. Don't judge the result by the scoreline. This was the best match I have seen Indian Team play ( w.r.t the opponent).

If they'll play all their matches like this, then they can definitely qualify for the Quarter Finals, which will definitely be major achievement.
