Kerala Blasters and Head-Coach Rene Meulensteen have decided to mutually part ways with immediate effect due to the latter’s personal reasons. Commenting on the same, Rene Meulensteen said "I like to thank the management, staff, players and amazing fans for this experience and wish them well for the future"
CEO of Kerala Blasters, Varun Tripuraneni said “The club likes to thank Rene for all the hard work in his time at the club
Westwood would be a good signing IMO but would probably not be signed because he would be too hot to handle for officials of MB ( or EB for that matter)...no doubting Subrata's experience and his match reading...Mridul too is a good coach and deserves an independent charge of one of the BIG TWO of the Maidan...not sure about Karim
But I guess that for the time being MB would continue with Shankarlal...it would be wise to hand him independent charge for the rest of the season...he knows these boys inside out and had a decent outing with the club in the CFL...he has been a faithful servant of the club and he deserves it
