Pretty sure they wont take 10+ years to open an academy like many clubs around here . You guys are just pissed , i can understand why . Being a sore loser and spamming with your hate posts wont help . In 2-3 years there will be rel pro and you will understand why staying away from ISL for two years was a blessing in disguise.
" ...Apathy from the rest of the country. You didn't have a chance fpr regions like south India to have a chance ..."
What apathy, what chance. I-league is the most even-footed platform for talents to show up. Nobody restricts or controls emergence of new clubs. Goan clubs used to dominate a few years ago. NE clubs are coming up in droves. Nobody objects. If South India can organize themselves like NE or Goa, then there would have been lot of South clubs also, who's denying them.
ISL on the other hand is choking the fountainhead of talents by clubbing the whole of North East into one zone and 'allocating' (what gall!) one team for them. Suppose they club South India as one and allocate one team ('South India United FC'), then what will be your opinion on the 'chance' South is getting?
I-league is prompting talents in NE, and ISL is developing fans in Chennai.
You develop your football, you get team for national league. Till that time, shout in front of the TV and continue to bash Bengal.
Let us not talk about ISL as source of income for Indian footballers, that story has been busted. Even if it is true, it is valid for how many players? And how many coaches?
I request admin to filter comments and move them to other thread as most of them are nowhere near " Rumours, Gossips, Signings "(rename that merger thread into ISL Vs I League )

Both leagues will now contribute equally in a longer league.
