To be honest, Mumbai FC,s requests are too much. Getting relegated do not mean the world has ended. They can bounce back like Dempo. And instead of paying AIFF Rs 3 crores now, they could have bought some good quality foreigners at half of that money, not to say Indian players too.
They should play on. They are a club well supported. Only their office bearers are not tending the club enough.

Someone with inside info should really list out the likely teams for this ileague. if we leave it to IMG owned puppets the official announcement may come 48 hours before the 1st match day. Good to see that both the new boys from last year have put in much more thoughts in their pre-season and recruitment's , they should be alright this year. Hope both ozone and Gokulam get the nod.
Minerva has got a phoeien coach who should be an improvement. They have some sort of preseason going on so team should definetly be playing more choesively this time. Also they have addressed the issue of a bad pitch by moving to a different stadium. Chennai has sent some of their players to Finland and have signed foriegners well in advance, so again they can only improve.
We don't know if the pitch is any better then last season and phoeien coach? What does that mean? Do you know how Chennai City's Finnish players are doing? If they have seen any improvement or whether they have done anything? Have you ever seen their foreigners do anything?

Minerva needs to sign players, PLAYERS. Depending on academy grads is not enough even for an anemic-looking IL.

All Chennai had to do was finish above Minerva, And co-incidentally above Mumbai FC as well. It's a cheaply buildup squad. Cannot expect anything more.
