Waynand is better off stupid cricket or even any human presence. Already lot of wildlife land and habitat has been lost how much more do we want to fuck up.
But wayanad cricket stadium is so beautiful and nature friendly. Holding matches with proper waste management protocol will not do harm. Since capacity is less, there will be less crowd to deal with. Also it will bring tourism revenue. In my opinion this should be ideal location for a test matches where one can go explore the nearby beautiful places in between the innings. For one day and t20 Trivandrum is ok. @munna219777, btw why test matches have different criteria because in a test match it is for 5 days and you need to be there till the results atleast. So there is ample days of rest if innings get finished and moving on to another location.
@indian_gooner ; Airport and 5 star hotel requirement is there for Test Match. There are some other Ground specific requirement also. Wayanad do not have any Airport. One Day Match requirements are slightly less stringent. First Class Cricket Venue for Ranji, Duleep, 4 Day with A teams, Womens is fine without Airport and Wayanad is okay.
