As a temporary stadium it is absolutely fine but it has a long way to go before it can be considered full time for I-League. Its great that it has a good grass surface (brilliant actually) but it needs more expansion of stands and maybe more cleaner stands as well.
Other than that it all looks fine. @Ashlesh, if Duler is close to Panjim then why dont Dempo NOT waste money on a new stadium and just revamp the Duler Stadium some more and rename it etc. So much cheaper than creation from the start.
Barasat Stadium is getting an artificial turf, thats a good news.
@ArsenalKid700 Dempo plan of making own stadium is only on paper. Infact every club in India has written in their goals and objectives that they will build their own stadium. But their are lot of ifs and buts there. Government should give free land etc etc. Clubs will say that they have this land and they will build one stadium and so on-but at the end of the day, all such plans will stay on paper. The concept of revenue generation from tickets, merchandise, TV rights, Stadium naming rights is just not there in Indian football. They are very amateur here. Even in UK and USA, local municipal authorities give lot of subsidies before any stadium can be constructed.
We should be happy that Duler Ground (artificial turf, not natural grass) can be used for I-league games till November-that means start of next year I-league. West Bengal Sports ministry should be ashamed of themselves-no flood lights still for Salt Lake Stadium.

that why i feel India should redevelope rules in sports related issues
Good Point. Also I dont understand why every stadium has a name of a politician attached to it. How many Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium we need???? Give the stadium naming rights to the highest bidder company-even small amount no problem-and use that money in atleast cleaning the stadium and other facilities.
I looked it up on the map. Mapusa is close to Anjuna Beach and Baga Beach and even Morjim. Hope to see more foreign tourists to come and see football matches at Duler Ground.
Yuva Bharati Krirangan is all set to go under renovation from 27th December. The stadium which was scheduled to undergo renovation one month earlier was delayed for the Brazilian Master match and the Derby Match. The renovation is slated to complete by 4th of January.
Meanwhile it has been decided that the schedule matches of Salt Lake Stadium in the renovation period has been shifted to Kalyani Stadium.

@Joyptan What kind of renovation is there which last only 9 days??? Is that floodlights?
Yup. The stadium will see change in floodlights which has caused problem several times in the past.
