They rejected Calderon because he has no experience despite having necessary qualifications. But accepted someone with terrible record in the last decade.
These guys have no idea about football or what marquee means. No way Indian football will ever improve with guys at top who have no idea of how football functions.
Only thing that must ever be considered is once Coaching badges not some horseshit record 10-20 years ago. Even Premier League and La Liga doesn't have such things.
Shubham, Ashique, Soosairaj and every other gud indian footballers are being made to play in defence by isl teams.... guess it is better for national team to play the direct style instead of possession based football. given the absence of quality forwards nor their grooming....

Terrible appointment . There are at least 3-4 Indian coaches who can do a decent job . This league is designed to fail if some of it's absurd rules aren't removed .

Jessel Carneiro luks gud as a left back and is initiating game -play.... much needed for our national team, given that Mandar, Subhasish are off colour.... Hope Stimac recognises it.... And for god-sake let Ashique play for 2 more seasons and then take him to natl team.. he needs to mature.... Indian football team is like Pakistan cricket team taking young fast bowlers to Australia test matches and after losing will say that youngsters learnt a lot..... WQ qualifier is not a training place for young players....
The KM ran stat was interesting yesterday and Borges along with other MCFC foreigners & KBFC foreign CB ran more than 10 KMs..... Doru was saying Asian Standard is 13 to 14 KMS..... so still have a lot to catch up a lot.... and hope more indian players run that much.... Saw Narender Gahlot running a lot in JFC matches....
