Lots of covid cases in ISL bubble but FSDL has prevented the news from leaking, few fc goa players are covid positive and are in isolation in hotel, goa has not trained for 8 days
Hero Indian Super League (ISL) has decided to postpone Match No. 53 between ATK Mohun Bagan and Odisha FC scheduled to be played today, Saturday, January 8, 2022, at PJN Stadium in Fatorda. The League will look to reschedule the fixture to a later date
I hope AIFF apply their philosophy to ISL also in the same way they postponed I-League
philosophy of AIFF - not allowing any compromise with the health
and safety of the players and officials, it’s prudent that the Hero
I-League 2021-22 be postponed by at least 6 weeks, a fact which was
corroborated by all the participating clubs in the meeting.
The clubs also unanimously appreciated the efforts taken by the AIFF
to give paramount importance to the health of the players and officials.
Thereafter, the League Committee, abiding by consensus of all the
participating clubs as per the suggestion of Dr. Mahajan, ratified the
decision to postpone the ongoing Hero I-League 2021-22 for at least 6
weeks. The League will have a review meeting after 4 weeks to take stock
of the situation.
ISL should be postponed for 6 weeks. Hold a review meeting after 4 weeks. No compromise with health and safety of any ISL player. Franchise should unanimously appreciate the efforts taken by AIFF to give paramount importance to the health of ISL players and officials.
