Playing North East United is like 3 points giveaway. In ISL once your team is out of play off contention there is really nothing much to play for, literally zero motivation.
The amount of goals FC Goa has conceded due to Dheeraj's mistakes in last season and this one is extremely high! He cant grip a ball ffs, his outing in aerial balls is piss poor! He is very good as a shot stopper and in one-on-one situations. IMO, Gill is better than both Dheeraj and Nawaz. Nawaz is just too short for international levels, he will get caught out in international matches easily when we will play with an all Indian XI.
True... Dheeraj made too many mistakes in this season. Nawaz will face difficulty in NT games. So far, Gill is stand-out keeper in this season. But, he is amply supported by KBFC defense.
Dheeraj made a few mistakes and some goals were very good but did you see the kind of fumbles Naveen made lol. You would wonder how a team can even sign him!
Btw Vasquez scored a good goal today but Kerala coach saying this was the toughest game so far is a little too much! Kerala is the only team that would not give any minutes to their foreign striker. Chencho must be wondering if he should have joined an ISL team
Why should Derrick and Khaleed not be sacked? Forget the results, but both the teams have been playing atrocious football. EB also has a weak team, but earlier with Renedy and now with Mario, the team is playing free flowing football. Sure none of the three teams would qualify for the Top 4, but there has to be some effort and coaches have to go, if their teams are playing poorly.
Habas had to go not b'cos of few indifferent results, but his style of game was from Babar's era (which finally the mgmt. realised), which even by Indian football's standard was bad advertisement.
