I think this is one of the most spirited performance that I have seen from India EVER... to concede only 1 goal (a very well worked goal) in 70 mins against a team that is 37 places higher is a very good performance. India played well yes, but UAE's finishing was awful. They ought to have scored at least 2 more goals, maybe even 4 more. The woodwork helped twice and the ball flew past an open goal twice with no one to tap it in. And then that guy Ahmad Khalil shot the ball into orbit about 10 times in the 2nd half. And Abdul Rehman's got into position for a great header off a corner in front of an open goal and sent it high. They ought to be ashamed with the score line. With 1 extra player and 1 lesser penalty (see Phanik's prior message), India would have certainly attacked much more and may well have scored the all important away goal.

India showed attacking intentions in first 10 mins, then UAE sort of started taking the game from us. Main threat was their speed.

I saw some awesome passing streaks. India were trying to keep the balls with them more and more and some players were showing good skills too like chetri and Mehtab. The flair was lacking coz they havent got used to it yet...but it will come thru.
