I Don't know why do we even take part in this shitty tournament , if there was a way i would have rather gone to west Asian championship or create a central Asian one without saff nations
anyways since we r there and there is noting that we can do.
this is going to be the result
India 7-0 Afghanistan
India 10-0 Bhutan
India 8 -0 Sri Lanka

I think this is one last time we should participate in SAFF Cup as a full strength side. A convincing winning streak against all these sides will be a perfect way to take off. Then we can request to join West Asian FF or ASEAN and I dont think its impossible as Australia is in AFC. We should still participate in SAFF Cup as the matter will become a diplomatic issue. But the U19 or U23 team should represent us.

Well that is a daydreamer's scoreline. We are thinking too high about ourselves

Well why not merge South Asians and Central Asians,they don't have any such tournaments so invite them all.I'm sure its more fun to play against Uzbekistan,Tajiks who are more competitive.
8(S.A) + 4(C.A) = 12 Teams where 4 teams divided in 3 groups with top three and best 2nd placed team qualifying for Semi's <!-- s:think: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/eusa/think.gif" alt=":think:" title="Think" /><!-- s:think: --> <!-- s:whistle: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/eusa/whistle.gif" alt=":whistle:" title="Whistle" /><!-- s:whistle: -->

This idea looks more convincing for me as it could help our neighbouring saff nations too get to play competitive nations with the quality too increased.....may be format could be 6 teams 2 grp with top 2 as semifinalist and so on...

no its ok..we should put our reserve players for this...however, given the selection of the national team, it looks like that the reserve players will be better than the main team
Afganistan won't be easy for our team.. India had trouble beating them in 2008 afc challange cup, 2009 saff championship
i have read on the pakistanfootball.com that they might be bringing players from Holland, Germany, Norway, cyprus
