Mustafa was born and raised in Australia. He is now going to play for the German champions as well. Ya I doubt he will play for Afghan at all. He will play for Australia's Seniors.
• Well why not merge South Asians and Central Asians, they don't have any such tournaments so invite them all.I'm sure its more fun to play against Uzbekistan,Tajiks who are more competitive.

8(S.A) + 4(C.A) = 12 Teams where 4 teams divided in 3 groups with top three and best 2nd placed team qualifying for Semi's

getting Uzb is really difficult... they always looks for tough opponents..

This idea looks more convincing for me as it could help our neighbouring saff nations too get to play competitive nations with the quality too increased.....may be format could be 6 teams 2 grp with top 2 as semifinalist and so on...

6 teams in 2 groups.. I don't think so.. bcoz each team should play min 5 games

I think this is a good suggestion, however 12 teams too much. maybe the lower 6 should play the qualifying round, 3 team each group with both winners going through and then final 8 dvivded into 2 groups..this could work well like the AFF Suzuki Cup and perhaps bring little bit more harmony between the regional nations which exists amogst arab and asean nations...

The Sri Lanka squad is scheduled to leave for Dubai on November 12 (Saturday) for further training where they will also play matches against five clubs in the United Arab Emirates. They will return to Sri Lanka on November 22 and will continue with their training sessions before flying off to New Delhi for the South Asian competition later this month.

All those suggestions about having a 12 team competition with south asian and central asian countries is not going to happen. To be frank no one would be interested as well.Look at it this way the only thing the south asian countries would be doing would be diluting the standard of the competition, and any ways from a fan point of view why would you want a bangladesh ,pakistan, maldives get hammered by anyone and everyone its bad enough they concede 10 everytime they play.So better let them not play and let them feel good about themseleves by winning the "BIG ONE""THE WORLD CUPof south asia"

saff cup preparation of our main contenders-
maldives- they would be playing couple of friendly with Seychelles at the end of this month(they have announced the broadcast partner almost a week before the match, which aiff should learn from them)
bangladesh- they would be playing friendlies against indian clubs southern samity and pailan arrows(probably)..
afghanistan are currently holding camp in dubai and would be reaching delhi by end of this month...
