    Rumours;
    Foreigners: EB coach Alejandro does not want Acosta, Aidara and Tony Dovale for the next season. Esqueda is already out of the equation. According to sources, he is intent on retaining only two of the foreign players, Borja and Colado, for the next season. He wants two foreign defenders, two foreign strikers and two foreign central midfielders. If such a plan materializes, EB is set to have four new foreigners for the next year. It is not sure whether EB will play in the I-league or ISL next year, foreigners will be chosen on that basis.

    Indian players:
    Goalkeepers
    : CK Ubaid is set to be released. Dagar (why? EB desperately needs a good goalkeeper and Dagar's performance has been very inconsistent), Mirshad and academy goalie Ayan Roy are  reportedly the coach's choice.

    Stopper and side-back: Salam Ranjan and Mehtab Singh as stopper, Kamalpreet, Chullova, Samad and Manoj as side-back are the coach's choices.

    Midfield: Coach wants to retain Didicka, Ralte and Brandon

    Striker: Alejandro reportedly wants a good Indian striker along with Joby Justin.

    Alejandro reportedly wants a 27 member team. 12 of the existing Indian players to be retained with three academy footballers (including one goalkeeper) to be inducted. The remaining six would be new players.

    Most of the Indian Arrows players whom Alejandro wanted to recruit are already contracted. Hence, some MB footballers like Arijit Bagui and Sk. Faiaz may be signed.

    Quess has said, " The coach has submitted the list of players. If there is any announcement, we shall convey it by e-mail."

    @shanks_dehighliving EB would require at least one more striker. Maybe, someone like Borris Garros (was heavily rumoured last year).

    Which is fine. Why the fuck pay 15 cr as entry fee and play bloody ISL! It is like the clubs pay to see their own tamasha and also give a part of their revenue to the organizers (FSDL). Much like the app cab service; while OLA/Uber doesn't have their own vehicle/no fuel cost/no drivers,yet they make a certain % commission for every trip a passenger takes & the driver partner wonders why the fuck does he have to pay that!

    People who was interested in development of football in India had invested in come capacity in ISL franchises are bleeding;most have either come out of it as investor or teams on the verge of merger/closure. Ajit Isaac knows the consequences and hence has put his foot down strongly and is seeking clarity on the way forward.

    Also, if we talk of the glitz of ISL, the finals was played which can accommodate 8-9K people! So, the organizers themselves are scared to stage a final which has even a 25K capacity!

    Whereas, despite being devoid of glitz and fanfare, I-League has been the toast of the nation when it comes to football in India in the past 2 years. Genuine football fans in India talk about I-League & not ISL, whether it is the top tier league/League I.

    Also u can't replicate IPL model in football. An established product/brand is easy to sell/can give u revenue and profit, but NO ONE in India will have the willingness to make a hole in his pocket to market football in India.

    The question then is why would Issac invest in EB? B'cos EB in itself is a brand, and whether they play ISL/I-League, his company would derive the mileage;yes,ISL can fast track it, but when it comes to ROI for investors for investing in Bagan-EB( assuming there is a transparency in functioning),its always a sure shot success model to play in I League in the current context, till the time there is enough clarity and logic on paying a hefty franchise fee, when the model in itself is flawed and a loss making venture.
