<b>Pre season friendly :</b> <br>Arrows played a friendly on 11th August in the
Pailan ground against Kolkata League team Aryans. The match was affected
due to poor ground conditions due the rains. The match ended 0-0, with
Arrows creating much of the chances. Due to poor weather and ground
conditions, only 50 mins where played, with 25 mins for each half.<br><br><b>Arthur Papas's press meet : </b><br>Arrows' management arranged a press meet on
11th August. Following are some of the important comments by him :-<br> <br>
"It is always very easy to say that we must follow the Dutch style or
the Spanish style of football. However, I believe Indian players should
always stick to their natural game and improve on their fitness"<br> <br>
"The key is patience. The Spanish or the Dutch style of play has
evolved over a period of time. Expecting our players to adopt a
different style of play within a short time is impractical,"<br> <br>
"Being a new team, our aim is to ensure we improve on our performance.
We all know about our poor performance in the last two seasons. So I am
hoping we can better that"<br><br>http://www.facebook.com/arrowsfans<br>
Pailan Team will play in Calcutta Football League. Pailan is taking over the IFA Academy which will be known as Pailan IFA Academy. It is not clear to me whether this academy team will represent Pailan in CFL or its going to be Pailan Arrows
