Against Oman? That is asking a little to much from a team that is not good away from home and that have not been together for a while. 3-1 should be the goal. Maybe 3-2 or 2-1. I cant see a draw.
The match will be shown on Ten Action from 2 55 p.m IST. Just saw the advert... Meanwhile, India haven’t yet done research on their opponents but Medeira optimistically stated that they shall get the video clipping of Oman on Wednesday, just a day before the friendly.
If you have a coach like this, you are never going to win games.

Oman to use India friendly to acclimatise for Thai tie
Muscat: With Fifa having no other option rather than forcing Oman to play their cruciAl Group D World Cup qualifier against Thailand at 1.30pm on February 29, Oman Football Association has accepted the reality and have agreed to follow the Fifa ruling.
This was announced yesterday by OFA general secretary and CEO Hazzaa Al Saadi at the Seeb Stadium.
He said this odd situation was unavoidable as Fifa wanted both the final matches (Saudi Arabia versus Australia and Oman versus Thailand) of Group D to be played simultaneously at the same time. Since the match Down Under is at 8.30pm same day, Oman has to play the game under hot afternoon conditions.
This again has forced the think-tank of Oman national team to schedule the official Fifa friendly against India on Thursday to same time. This warm-up game will be played at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher at 1.30pm.
This scheduling is according to coach Paul Le Guen’s request so that his boys will be prepared for such conditions. Three teams — Saudi Arabia (6 points), Oman (5)and Thailand (4) — have a chance to join Australia (12) in the final phase of the qualifiers.“Coach and his technical staff sought for the afternoon scheduling,” said Al Saadi, who also informed of change of venue for the India match.
“The India friendly will be played at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, the venue which will also host the Oman-Thailand match.”
Al Saadi also said that OFA tried their best to force Fifa change their mind, but failed. “The world body requested us to negotiate with Australia, but unfortunately they could not change the scheduling because a even further late start will bring no fans to the event and moreover 20,000 tickets have been sold out for their match,” added Al Saadi.
“We will now have to accept the prevailing conditions and move ahead finding ways to market the game in the right earnest. The response from the private sector has been good and we hope that the fans will be allowed that extra time to come to
stadium and enjoy the match.”
The OFA officials, who obviously want to see a full house during the matches, are planning to give caps to the spectators while also announcing several prizes, including a raffle draw for a grand prize of a car. According to OFA Commercial Director Nic Cartwright, further details can be had from official website www.ofa.om or facebook page ‘oman football national team’.
Indian can now do better err they will win. They do have experience of playing in afternoon in I - league. HA HA HA...
On a serious note, I am not sure how fruitful would this match would be for Indian players. Most of the new players won't be able to showcase their proper caliber under hot sun. It would be extremely difficult to perform at highest level under these hot conditions.
