@somesh: for some reason I was not too impressed watching few clips of Sean Rooney (there are not many clips actually). He was injured when he was in Newcastle and had to transfer to Deltras in Indonesia because of that. Deltras rank 16th in their national league. All these facts are worrying me.
<br><div><br></div><div>You are looking at the player through the team he plays for. Nick Powell of Crewe Alexandra plays in the 4th Division of England and finished in 7th yet a host of top Premier League clubs (including Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool). </div><div><br></div><div>It is all about the individual in this situation. Sean Rooney is only 23 years old, a former Australian youth international and has 4 goals in 8 games for Deltas so far (so it says) and he has played in the FIFA U20 World Cup in which he played in all 3 matches and started 1. I think that CV can tell you that he is worth a Ranti Martins or at least a Tolgay.</div>

<br><div>Makes sense. I think I'm just nervous with tomorrow's title match and Mohun Bagan and Prayag already announcing and confirming their foreign recruits. Plus Arsenal and City tested my nerves in the morning, so still recovering from that.</div>
You and me both. I was pissed that this was on mother's day because if Arsenal lose then it is no Mother's day.<div><br></div><div>As for Bengal, does not matter. Would Sean Rooney really play in CFL. It is stupid to have a player like Rooney play in I-League and then step down to CFL. The CFL should be an area where East Bengal, Prayag United and Mohun Bagan should be able to groom there youth. They are just tiring up there players and when the internationals complain about being tired I think we can all point to the fact that they play in either GPL or CFL. </div>
Not about that, I'm tensed about tomorrow's CFL title match against Mohamedan Sporting. Plus I really really really want a super striker for EB this season as a reply to Odafa (MB) and Ranty (Prayag) both of whom are confirmed by their respective clubs. The fact that only our strikers are not confirmed yet is pissing me off.
sean rooney, van something? What is the source? Can east bengal afford one of them? UB has'nt increased the budget. Where is the money? These all are bloody kolkata maidan tricks. When a big player of one club moves out officials generally say they are after big names just to divert the attention. I know it all. Nobody will come. Hasan rabia is almost a done deal, others are just rumors
