Yeah I understand. Actually I'm fighting a battle with myself. A part of me believes Hasan and Rooney/Van Dijk can give us all the trophies and help us do good in AFC but I know that will shut the door for Manandeep and Robin to play in the starting XI and a part of me wants them to start with Hasan or Rooney/Dijk for their good and betterment of Indian football although it gives me a feeling that EB will not be as successful if 2 foreign strikers starts instead.
I agree with your point of National Team duty. But that happens with every top player. If I-league top scorer can get 2.3 crore, why not 3 crores for A-league top scorer?
Its very interesting to see how Tolgay, who has been a pleasure to watch for two seasons, who inspite being a support striker had to score bulk of the scoring suddenly became a Zero based on Arthur Papas comment. Player values are not judged across leagues but within leagues..Of course Ranty, Odafa wont have made much much less if played in Nigeria. Same for Tolgay. We should judge Tolgay on how he played here than what league he has played before. Tolgay has been one of the best support strikers in Indian in recent times, the number of chances he created were missed by Robin/Baljit..He has been one of the main reasons why EB has been in no. 2 for two years straight. As of now Tolgay is the best Asian quota player in India...

Its good that EB bringing A League players, but that doesnt make Tolgay a shit player overnight...Its probably true that he wont be able to be as good with the poor MB midfield but still he is very good....

Tolgay, Sanju, Penn are some of the players why I enjoyed watching EB than MB, although I am a MB fan
