Yes, but how can Mohammedan do regularly. They would be playing in a 120,000. Even for East Bengal and Mohun Bagan it is not viable but they can still build there fan base.

1) if the stadium is 120,000 thats not the fault of the fans that they look proportionately less than 10K ppl in 20K seater (just a hypothetical figure)
2) Kolkata has always been a three club show (3rd not being united SC)...the attendance have gone down, but they will be back for top flight. Plus facebook, twitter has no influence on these fans...forget about website they probably dont even know do much internet...
3) I dunno why Pailan arrows is being forced into kolkata football...its a developmental side which is given kolkata for training...it has no links with kolkata football...take them wherever u want...at the moment there are 3 kolkata clubs in i league and if prayag re-locates then there will be two...
4) MMD also enjoys supporters in other states, infact at one point they had more supporters that MB, EB...and its exactly due to the power of name

but I would only want them to qualify in i league on the basis of merit, nothing else
anyhow mmd is done so we can revisit MMD next season of i-league division2 unless aiff decides that they want mmd in i-league

If I'm not wrong MDS is probably greater and bigger than E.B going back into history. With Muslims(In W.B 30% of pop is Muslim) backing the club they should easily get good attendance in I-League.

Jibon Singh of Pailan Arrows has offer from both Mohun Bagan and Shillong Lajong. But the Lajong's offer is lucrative to him. he might move there next season
