Kewell is under a 3 year contract with the Melbourne Victory club. He is 34 now and is injury prone. Prayag wont put in 7 crore for this deal. Plus the transfer fee

<br><div><br></div><div>Yea this is the way to keep the salary cap with  some players not counted in that section so the club could show their money power in that section if they wish and thus the worry of lacking stars could be avoided and also salary could be induced into i-league transfer market</div>

Appears as if the USFC coach wants to bring in his "own" players and is clearing out the ones from the previous regime, not sure if they offered Jacobs a contract , I'm sure they would have.<div><br></div><div>Salgaocar must have offered more and they are also busy adding some youth to their ranks as well.</div><div>Malemgamba Meitei (HAL) and Malsawmkima(Mumbai FC) are heading to Salgaocar too.<br><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
