it is acceptable that you researched it. i also dont have a wikipedia page nor twitter. i am not social media type of guy. however you would notice that those links are for only players with a wikipedia page. i didnt see at least 5 guys who played at the same time as me. but if you want to check with every NASL team since 2006 onwards please free to. you will enjoy the high rate of both the team and player turnover. but you proved my point why i didnt want to disclose my id on a public forum. i didnt mean to be negative towards indian soccer but im aware of football backgrounds from better nations. indian soccer is a joke among all other nations. very few people care about it so the help and progress must arrive from the country itself. i would rate even semi pro in usa better than ileague since i played at both levels. copa latina tournament is a perfect example of this. so many expros and current pros play in the winter tournament in miami. it is quite famous and people like george weah have played in recent years. that level of play exceeds the ileague and even its foreigners. i have also seen foreign players here made feel unwanted as thier style of play. indian style is about 1v1 dribbling or long balls which both tatics are ill suited to the country. from my personal experience i was told to stop playing first time balls and told to dribble instead of playing on first and second touches. when i spoke to foreign players they agreed with my sentiment and puzzlement with the tatic. i know that foreign players are the axis of the team and have different responsiblities but i have never heard such directions in football. but india is making progress and hopefully ocis and pios can help with it.

    @theu comment basically shows he doesnt know much about the latest I League teams nor has he seen them play. 4-4-2 based long ball is hardly what the top team plays. This is exactly what I hate, someone coming up with the air of know it all and then with a combination of mis-information and foreign awe list out what is best for India. Thanks.

  • @theu To be fair, if you played in the NASL or even the USL Pro (3rd tier) or even the former versions of these leagues (USL 1st Division or USL 2nd Division along with the USSF Division 2 League) that you would have a wikipedia page. These are all fully professional leagues and unless you played in the league from before around 2003 then you should have a page.

Are you sure you did not mean NPSL or USL PDL?

line-height: 22.09375px;">my point in all this was india should open itself to ocis n pios it would help the national team long term and the ileague short term. for example my college teammate (much younger than me) who is graduating next may will prolly be signed to team in the philippine league. he trains with one during his holidays. the philippines go out and hold camps/tryouts in the USA to get players for the national team then the league now. they're quality of play is rising at a great rate. they have alot of half-philippino in their football setup. my friend who is half isnt a good enough for a top american league so going back "home" to play professionally is good for him and the league. alot of times with guys at lower levels training every day can vastly improve a player and they step up for an intl level. i have a friend of indian parentage who sent his video cv to indian teams that i have contacts with and they rejected him coz he plays fullbacks and that not ideal foreign slot. he has trained and played at pdl level so good amatuer american player. they want him but he wont switch his passport just to play in india. alot of good players bring different skill sets but ileague teams cant risk them, myself who plays a specialist role cant be signed for big money in ileague but im not shooting for that i have interest abroad after my rehab thankfully. olga knannu from goa is the only possible def center mid as a foreigner. ileague can take a stand and make a slot/quota for pios and ocis. so many asian teams bring in outside players even in our subcontinent. like afghanistan who has brought in those players from europe and usa to get a collective different from this quality of the subcontinent. that's my point and not knocking ileague and indian players. sorry for the font change it just happened and i dont what to do lol.

<span style="font-size: 11px;
