@Nagendra - I think it's safe to say you are more of a football fan than a Liverpool fan, and there is nothing wrong with that. I really have not met a Liverpool fan with any sort of soft spot for Man Utd, and vice versa.
Southampton have an excellent academy and bring through their younger players to first team, and have a manager who has got them playing to their potential. But because they play well, their better players will be picked up soon by other clubs like Lovren, Lambert, Lallana, Schneiderlin, Chambers, Shaw, Clyne, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott were in the past.
Mane (Man Utd), Pelle (several Italian clubs), Tadic, Wanyama (Spurs) and Rodrigues (Spurs) are players others will soon look at. Koeman has done well to attract interest too though nothing will happen with him until the summer.
@ArsenalFan700 is right - they will not be in the Top 4 any time soon.
It is most likely that Koeman will be approached by Chelsea if Jose fails to qualify for Champions League. So yes with Southampton the major problem is lack of players who stay more than couple of season.
@ The Real AG ,, may be u r right,, First I used to watch only Liverpool games,, I'm on moon when they won champions league,, slowly things got changed and started following other clubs as well ,, I know we cannot have two favorite clubs,, at least clubs in same league,, but my love towards Liverpool will be always ... :-j
Nope. Chelsea will not approach Koeman, and neither will they sack Mourinho. They are pissed with Mourinho for blowing this things way out control, as it was his issue with their doctors which added an unnecessary distraction, which the board are not happy with. The allegations of Sexism would make them even more uncomfortable after all the racism issue with their fans. But as it stands, there is no plan to sack Mourinho.
Watch out for his first press conference which will be aired at 8AM UK time. This guy is a straight shooter and made a great first impression with the "Anfield legends" Roy Evans, Dalglish, Rush, Fowler, Lawrenson, Souness and Mcmanaman.
This is really exciting times for Liverpool.....lets start predicting the stars whom we can expect to come in......I can see Mane and maybe daxler......
