Liverpool are close to signing Marko Grujic, but face competition from Stuttgart and Inter both of whom have stayed abreast of the negotiations with Red Star, alongside Liverpool. In whichever event, the player will stay at Red Star until the summer though they want him to stay with them until 2017 summer. If Liverpool get the player in January, they will let him stay on loan at Belgrade until 2016 summer, when he would replace Joe Allen.
Swansea are idiots if they think they can get Biesla to act sane. He is a brilliant coach, but doesn't speak English and falls out with everyone. It's either his way or the highway, and at the first sign of dispute, he will quit. An excellent coach but the most capricious manager out there. Stability is key when you bring a new guy and Biesla will not provide it.
As for Monk, good to see young managers given a chance but honestly, he struggled and ran out of ideas way to quickly. Hopefully he learns something new from this and does not stick to the principles his model Brendan Rodgers stuck too.
