IG..essa retired in 2009 from NT due to issues with coach n wants to play only if made captain..so need of him anymore..he still plays in the league though..

I dnt like the greenshirts either..managed to convince the pff on The Shaheens last week so tht willbe used from now on..

Shaheen means eagle... commonly used by sir iqbal in his poetry..the national poet of pkn...he also wrote sare jahan se acha..

So in other words..the eagles..

why not ask pak fans in social network like we did...u can chk that thread here also...national team nickname....earlier we were known as bhangra boys which everyone did not like it

yeh i try that a bit on our facebook page.. but people on our facebook page interacted with the pff official and we shared various names and kinda agreed on shaheens..

yeh i didnt like bhangra boys either but i think blue tigers is good.. could have been better but still..

blue tigers is best. Tiger is also our national animal so it all makes sense.

it ended in favour of Kyrgyzstan 

hopefully tajiks confirm their spot with win....

but still my mind says we shouldnt qualify given our quality

Oh come on! Evry one knows our quality, not qualifying will not prove it any further. So lets qualify and give ourselves a chance
