Reading the news it also seems like aiff officials are very confident of getting the U-17 WC.

Brainless AIFF, always get a country which is in turmoil, civil war, political problems and the game is cancelled at the last moment. Is it important to get always a war ravaged country- Palestine, Yemen, Syria who will cancel at the last moment or Cameroon who will send second string team. Cant AIFF look at Central Asia- like uzbekistan, kyrghyztan, turkmenistan, tadzikistan-those guys come and also vietnam, laos, indonesia, malaysia,  cambodia, thailand, Burma.  why to go for unstable palestine. Bring match to Bangalore or Chennai or Kochi if assam is not ready.

I dont mind playing Palestine or any war torn country. As long as they will provide a tough game then what is the problem. Its not Nepal.

I do agree though that we do stand the chance of them canceling the game.

It is probably not officially confirmed yet. The AIFF did promise Assam a game in February so they are probably still making sure they can host it.

Im expecting Gouramangi to be throw out of the Starting XI as think there are far better CB coming up like Sandesh,Anas,Justin,Arnab and Shouvik.
