It was. Robin Singh managed to get into the box right as soon as the Salgaocar player made contact with Singh after he slid in for the tackle which was very, very late.
If you want you can blame the Salgaocar defender who just allowed Singh to turn and get away SO EASILY!

Look at the video again... pause it right before Robin passes the ball forward and do a frame by frame. Yes, Robin pushes for the penalty and foul but contact is made with his boot as soon as it is in the box, whether his whole body is in or not is tough to answer but the area where contact is made is certainly inside the box.
That is a penalty, a very, very tight penalty. Also look at where the referee is, so, so far away from where the foul took place. Of course from there he would call the penalty. Even the linesmen had trouble getting back.
6 of the last 9 BFC games will be away matches..this will be crucial. with the current form of other title challengers, I guess only EB might have a chance as they have lot of matches in hand and Colaco will get some more time with the team during the break
