Mohd Sporting ( & all future relegated teams)  will have to play the full 2nd Division and not be given entry into the final stage as in the past !

All speculation right now...might be more realistic to expect I-League and ISL merge and they disband the 2nd Division as none of those clubs fulfill the AFC criteria

don't forget, it's a known secret that AIFF wants to rid Indian football of the regional imbalance and move to a more wide-spread format like the IPL

This AFC criteria and failed payments etc is the perfect cloud under which to eliminate 1 team from Goa and 1 from Kolkata..... also given the attitude of Churchill Brothers ( Valanka Alemao in particular) and Mohd Sporting ( court cases, corruption in 2 nd Division etc), AIFF will be glad to get rid of these 2.

As it stands neither will be allowed to even play in the 2nd Division next season.....all that money spent on Odafa and now they will just have to use him in Goa Pro-League only !
