Its a great feeling to have armando as the coach...am really eagerly looking forward to the kind of team that wud be nw selected..hope wadoo, sushil, yadav etc remain miles away from the list of probables
those guys dont even deserve to make it to their club teams nw..
• Well I understand that a lot of people are happy about Armando Colaco's appointment/confirmation as India's next coach. But in reality will it be good for Indian Football? I mean if anyone asks me I would say I am happy that an Indian is going to coach its football team but in the hindsight, I wouldnt be too happy about it. Since now was the perfect opportunity to get someone with International experience and also a master tactician. We needed someone who could take us to the future but instead we are looknig at a short term goals. I may be wrong and I would be happy if I am wrong but this looks to me like another bungling AIFF could have done away with.

Do you think any Foreign coach can select a perfect team especially in such a short period with I-League coming to end ??

Armando is good,he has been following the I-League,been facing West Asian teams in AFC Cup.Last but not least you save lakhs of money through his salary.

Now say who's better for now.

Armando is a good choice for short term.. he knows what indian players can and can't do best. Armando can work with Technical director ( from latin america, spain) that AIFF will pick to work on grassroots programs and managing players to learn the possession style of football

looking forward to see what team he picks.

Armando is a good choice indeed. A proven personality. Hopefully he will best use available resources. In future a TD will be needed to "create" resources.

Looks like a good decission.
