I say give Armando Colaco at least 2 years. On the basis of what little we have seen, i think there is significant improvement in the performance of the national team.
I think he should be the coach 4 atleast next 4yrs.He will change the face of Indian football and in that tenure I bet we will be in top 13 in Asia..
And if he worked under spanish or german technical director that wud be iceing on the cake..
even a TD from netherlands , south america or atleast even a Japanese TD will be good for us....
the other imp points are that we may get a national broadcast with a likely chance of streaming in youtube <!-- s:handgestures-fingerscrossed: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/handgestures/fingerscrossed.gif" alt=":handgestures-fingerscrossed:" title="Fingers Crossed" /><!-- s:handgestures-fingerscrossed: -->

Totally agree.... I have seen the difference in the passing of the Indian team. their thought process etc.. All are good signs and I sincerely feel that he should be given a longer tenure .
According to Das, India's 2-1 victory against Qatar in Doha had to be seen to be believed . "I think there is a need to circulate the video recording of that match . It was certainly India's best performance in recent times," explained Das
After being selected
initially to fill the place for an
interim coach for the national
football side, coach Armando
Colaco may yet have his contract
extended by the All India Football
Federation (AIFF). Colaco, who
replaced former incumbent Bob
Houghton in June, had initially
signed a four-month deal due to
his on-going commitment with I-
League giants Dempo.
However, after he helped the
team win a friendly against
Qatar in Doha and following a
spirited second round World Cup
qualifying exit at the hands of
the UAE, where the team held
their higher ranked opponents
to a 2-2 draw, the AIFF seems to
be impressed enough with the
Goan to give him a longer stint in
India colours.
“We believe Colaco has done a
very good job with the national
team and the AIFF is considering
giving him a longer contract,”
AIFF general secretary Kushal Das
said. “The length of the contract
and other finer details will be
decided by the executive
committee but we need to have
tri-party discussions first
involving AIFF, Colaco and
Dempo.” <!-- s:dance: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/eusa/dance.gif" alt=":dance:" title="Dance" /><!-- s:dance: -->
Six former India internationals - Bidesh Bose, Shyamal Banerjee, Prasanta Banerjee, Prasun Banerjee, Subrata Bhattacharya and Gautam Sarkar - were present at the ground as part of a special task force set up to study Sabella's practice sessions.
With Messi stealing the show, it was something for them to cherish and celebrate.
