Confusing. Corporate clubs and normal clubs like East Bengal will loan players to IMG Franchisee based league. First they have to find corporate clubs. Then they will have to find franchisee who will loan players from clubs to them. What will they do about Mumbai then-no stadium.
IMG is biting more then what they can chew.
I dont mind a tournament for corporate clubs as long as they play their own players. like calcutta clubs play in their Calcutta League-let corporate clubs play in IMG League. Why do they need players from other clubs?

After the I-League it is all amateur players and I doubt IMG-Reliance want "marquees" to play alongside amateur Indians.

I know India has this sort of black money magic and all that but eventually the sparse finances at all the clubs and lack of sponsors and revenue and fans will catch up with the clubs and we will see an implosion of the league.

First they were talking about stadiums. Now how easily Corporate clubs have removed this clause of building stadiums. Now it is about leasing the stadiums. Mumbai Tigers will lease Pune Balewadi Stadium. That is precisely what Air India was doing. Now even that 3 crores fees is too much for Corporate clubs. No benefit in having these so called Corporate clubs.

I don't mind renting stadiums. Look at how it is done around the world. From America to England to even India, stadiums are created and, for the most part, owned, by the government. Look at MetLife Stadium here in New York or Yankee Stadium or other famous stadiums around the world like the Emirates Stadium or even Old Trafford in Manchester. These stadiums were made with the help and acceptance by their governments. Hell, MetLife in New York is host to two of the most famous American football teams in the NFL and yet both teams have to rent the stadium because it is owned by the New Jersey Government.

Stadiums, no matter where you are, will not come cheap. IMG can take Santosh trophy. They can rename it-IMG Santosh Trophy. Santosh trophy haas non I-league players and there is always good crowd.

Only Kerala really gained an audience during the Santosh Trophy. Look up the pictures and video's from the last edition and the one before that. It was a ghost town.

Subrata Dutta today hinted on camera that there chould be 3-5 new corporate teams next season.

3-5!!!! they should do this slowly...dont kill all these clubs

Woah, hold your horses. It is either we kill the clubs or we explode the minds of the AIFF officials. Doing things slowly and gradually will be to much to comprehend for the AIFF.
