Should have been a kerala club too cashing in on kbfc fans. Mallu people have to waitit till end of the year for football action. A club based in malappuram is ideal for I league.
This will be the 1st time we will have an I-League with teams from 9 different regions all playing in different Stadiums(EB nd MB used salt lake for some matches last season)
This is probably 1st nd last time we are gonna see a pan india
Churchill I think was a rumour. Never saw anything in the media, only hypes in online forums and whatsapp groups (would've loved their inclusion though).
@mohammed_87hassan, aren't MB registering themselves to play out of Cooperage?
@Debarghya, how can SCG's & Dempo's case be good riddance for not taking up any marketing activities while the same for EB's and MB's case it is not? The Kolkata clubs are just taking their supporters for granted and DO NOT involve themselves in any sort of build ups. All the clubs are in the same platform.
For other I-league clubs as well, where is the impetus for marketing? Does the league give them anything? They are happy at just participating. Moribund clubs in a dead league. BFC is a different case, which is heartening. Though I do not expect any such activities from the incumbent corporate clubs.
