I don't think CCFC will go for big signings They will use current TN players
Remember @gaffertape once posted that when he spoke to Rohit Ramesh he said he is ready to give salary like 30k per month So he certainly won't attract big players
Unlike Bardez and Minvera Chennai City lack a proper setup
Think that if they get the nod to play in i-League Whom will they sign as Manager Do they have a squad??? How will they sign there foreigners Everything will be done in the last minute
There is no point bringing in a new club from a new place unless they add any value to the league. Professionalism is what needed. Doesnt matter who the owner is. There is no need for another Dodsal or Bharat FC
The thing is that AIFF decides everything at the last moment-so a corporate slot is turned into a fly-by-night operation. 2nd Division clubs atleast have some basic infrastructure set up and it will survive. It will also mean that they are serious about Football. The place in top division should be earned, not because of political and financial clout of the owner.
Neroca/minerva/real Kashmir would have added immense value if by June they would have been confirmed for ileague. All of them have supporters (except Minerva) and have a decent core group of local footballer. If Chennai city had even a solid coaching staff by now (like ozone) then they would have added real value. As it stands its better to have bardez and Minerva and Churchill into ileagueand let CcFC pls ileague 2 this year
So Bengaluru FC were not serious about football? They were a direct-entry side and are probably the most professional side in India. Also all of these guys bidding for a direct-entry spot pretty much have basic infrastructure already. Its never been a full problem.
They have basic setup (Training centre, gym etc) , A squad which has been together for 2-3 seasons now. Its just that they have a reliance on a few africans thats all.
Will be fine if they dont perform well in the league (if they are indeed serious about i-league) as long as they work on a philosophy and invest on youth.
3 years on non relegation can be a real boon for teams which wants to set itself up with no pressure of relegation.

Not many teams can do a BFC.
