Ashley is going to FA Penang. Is it true? If yes that would be huge loss for indian football.I thought he should be handed a new club like 3 yrs back BFC done. That help to indian football actually. Why I-league club not resign the man?
AFAIK, Churchill were disqualified for not meeting AFC norms like company formation, having infra, and so on. Now which one of these allegations was shot down by the Court? And by that yardstick, how other clubs who faced AIFF's ire (MSC, United SC, RW) are faring?
Only if AIFF issues a statement saying that they have to take Churchill brothers back due to Court Order, then only it will be called infriengement by FIFA. Otherwise court case is separate factor, AIFF has taken this decision on its own.
Churchill seems to have met the only condition required for clubs nowadays to survive in Indian football at the moment---the consent of PP and his gang, and of course the approval of 'AUNTY'
Almost as if the court is not exactly forcing the AIFF to allow Churchill Brothers back in but the AIFF have no choice due to the number of teams in the league.
